Jiangdong New Area is the eastern core area of Haikou City, which is characterizedby “two banks on one river, driven by East and West ports andcoordinated development of the North and the South”, and is alsothe east-wing core of “Haikou-Chengmai-WenchangIntegration”. It extends from DongzhaiPort in the East to Nandu River in the west, faces the east coastlineof Haikou in the north and reaches Phase II of City Highway andProvincial Highway 212 in the south, with a planned area of about298 square kilometers.

未来江东新区将形成“一港双心四组团；十溪汇流百村恬；千顷湿地万亩园”的组团式生态文明城乡空间结构，分为江东新区起步区、海口临空经济区和江东离岸创新创业组团、江东新区综合服务组团、文化交往组团、高教科研组团等六大板块。

Inthe future, Jiangdong New Area will form a cluster-type ecological civilizationurban and rural spatial structure of “one port, two centers and four clusters; ten riversflow together with hundreds of beautiful villages, thousands of hectares ofwetlands and ten thousands of mu of industrial parks”, whichcan be divided into six parts, i.e. Starting Area of Jiangdong New Area, HaikouAirport Economic Area and Jiangdong Offshore Innovation andEntrepreneurship Cluster, Comprehensive Service Cluster,Cultural Exchange Cluster and Higher EducationResearch Cluster of Jiangdong New Area.

江东离岸创新创业组团是美兰空港及江东新区建设的重要支撑，主要包括桂林洋经济开发区和灵山镇两个片区。桂林洋集中发展离岸众创孵化、科创与商务、文化创意、高新智造及生态宜居五大功能。灵山镇集中发展航空文化创意、购物休闲、国际医养、商务度假、旅居宜居五大功能。

Jiangdong Offshore Innovation and Entrepreneurship Cluster is an importantsupport for the construction of Meilan Airport and Jiangdong New Area, which ismainly composed of Guilinyang Economic Development Zone and Lingshan Town. Theformer focuses on the five functions of offshore mass entrepreneurshipincubation, technology innovation and commerce, cultural creativity, high-techand intelligent manufacturing, and pleasant living environment, while thelatter focuses on the five functions of aviation cultural creativity, shoppingand leisure, international medical treatment and endowment, business resort andcomfortable living environment.

●Regional headquarters of transnational corporations entering Jiangdong NewArea recently shall be given a one-time reward of RMB 3 million;
