HN FTP to Accept Applications for 2nd Batch of QDLP Enterprises

Starting from August 16th, 2021, the Hainan Local Financial Supervision and Administration will accept the application materials from enterprises for being listed in the 2nd batch of Qualified Domestic Limited Partner (or QDLP) overseas investment pilot enterprises in the Hainan Free Trade Port. The deadline is 17:30 p.m. on September 16th, 2021. Enterprises that intend to be listed should submit application materials on time.

In April this year, the "Interim Measures of Hainan Province to Carry out Overseas Investment Pilot Work of Qualified Domestic Limited Partners (QDLP)" was issued and both qualified new fund management enterprises and existing fund management enterprises can apply for pilot investment qualification. The QLDP program has a low threshold, a wide range, is unlimited, and flexible.It is one of the important and brand-new cross-border investment programs of the Hainan Free Trade Port.

The Hainan Local Financial Supervision and Administration has completed the review and approval of the list of the first batch of QDLP overseas investment pilot enterprises. Through preliminary examination and joint evaluation of application materials conducted by the Administration together with relevant units, and the examination and approval of the Hainan Provincial People’s Government, the first batch of the "Hainan Qualified Domestic Limited Partner (QDLP) Overseas Investment Pilot Enterprises" was released on August 6th.

The acceptance of applications for the 2nd batch of QDLP overseas investment pilot enterprises begin on August 16th. Each applicant enterprise may prepare application materials in accordance with the requirements regulated in the "Interim Measures of Hainan Province to Carry out Overseas Investment Pilot Work of Qualified Domestic Limited Partners (QDLP)" and submit them to the Free Trade Financial Development Department of the Hainan Local Financial Supervision and Administration.
