Win up to 10,000 RMB: write a new slogan for Haikou Jiangdong New Area

On June 3, 2018, the Hainan provincial government announced the establishment of the Haikou Jiangdong New Area, one of 11 key parks of the Hainan free trade port.

In order to better publicize and promote the Haikou Jiangdong New Area, the Administration Bureau of Haikou JDNA is now soliciting a slogan for the area.

Requirements for the slogan

The slogan should represent the unique advantages of JDNA. It should highlight policy, location, ecological aspects and other advantages of the area.

It should reflect the industrial advantages by combining “service economy + airport economy + ecological economy” of the JDNA

It should be accurate, concise and catchy. It should facilitate the aspects of promotion, foreign investment, conferences and exhibitions.

The slogan should be original and not infringe upon the rights of any third party. No information relating to the creator should appear in the submitted work.

In the matters of an infringement dispute, the author/creator shall bear the legal liabilities.

In accordance with the law, the slogan shall not contain any contents that violate the provisions of the constitution and laws of the state.

How to enter

Both domestic and foreign professional creative teams and individuals can participate.

The proposal may include one or more slogans with a description of the slogan concept. The slogan is not limited to any language. If it is in a foreign language, the relevant Chinese notes should be attached.

Only electronic submissions are accepted. Please indicate “Haikou Jiangdong New Area Publicity Slogan Submission + Author’s Name (organization name) + Contact Number” in an email.

Entrance time

Slogan proposals shall be issued from now until 24:00 on February 26, 2021 (Before Lantern Festival).

Rewards for successful slogans

One first prize winner with a reward of 10,000yuan.

Two second prize winners, each awarded RMB 5000 yuan.

Three third prize winners, each awarded RMB 2000 yuan.

10 finalists will be awarded RMB 1000 (tax included).

The final interpretation rights of the slogan belong to Haikou Jiangdong New Area Administration.
