Investment in Hainan’s Key Projects Reaches 80.1B CNY

As of the middle of December 2021, the annual investment in key projects in Hainan has reached 80.1 billion yuan, exceeding the annual investment target.

In 2021, 128 provincial key projects have landed in Hainan, with a total investment of 378.1 billion yuan and an annual planned investment of 77.8 billion yuan. There are three types of projects, namely tourism, modern service and high technology. The largest annual investment went into infrastructure and industrial development.

As of December 25th, 2021, 2.8 billion yuan has been invested in the second phase of Changjiang Nuclear Power Plant. The annual completion rate is 131%.The total investment is expected to reach 39.4 billion yuan. About 1.5 billion yuan has been invested in the G15 Shenyang-Haikou High-speed project, with an annual completion rate of 112%. The total investment is expected to be 6.6 billion yuan. With a total investment of over 7 billion yuan, the annual completion rate of the Maiwan Tianjiaotan Water Conservancy Project reached 102%. About 690 million yuan has been invested in the Haikou Meilan Airport One-stop Aircraft Maintenance Base project, achieving its annual investment target. The total investment is estimated at 1.6 billion yuan. 500 million yuan has been invested in the Haikou Financial Center Project, with an annual completion rate of168.8% and its total investment is projected to reach 1.5 billion yuan.
