Datang International Trading Center Capped in Haikou

The project has a total construction area of approximately 38,000 square meters, with an investment of 555 million yuan. After completion, it will work as an important headquarters base for the China Datang Corporation. At that time, the corporation will take Hainan as a key area to carry out energy infrastructure construction and international trade business in line with the market demand.

Cui Jianyong, Manager of the Project told the reporter that the overall process is advancing on schedule. It is planned to be put into use in June next year. After completion, it is expected to accommodate up to 400 personnel.

China Datang Corporation is part of Hainan's project to attract 100 central state-owned enterprises settle in Hainan. At present, it has invested in some clean energy projects in Hainan like the natural gas power plant projects. The corporation plans to make a new investment of 15 billion Yuan in fixed assets in Hainan during the 14th Five-Year Plan period. The aim is to increase the proportion of clean energy in Hainan by 5%.
