On November 18, Hainan Province held a press conference on its complaint-receiving and handling platform for the business environment.
The complaint-receiving and handling platform is a place where market players can reflect problems, provide tips and make complaints concerning the business environment. As of November 16th, the platform had received 707 cases since its launch; and 412 of them have been handled and completed.
“The Hainan Provincial Communist Party Committee and the Hainan Provincial People’s Government will not avoid but deal with the business environment problems reflected by the market entities immediately and realistically according to law,”according to Zhang Xiangguo, Deputy Secretary-General of the Hainan Provincial People’s Government and Director of Hainan’s Business Environment Optimization Office.
The platform mainly addresses eight types of behaviors that damage the business environment, such as increasing approval items, approval links and extending the approval time limit in violation of regulations by governments at all levels and their departments.
Yang Tian, Group Chief of Problem Receiving and Handling, Hainan’s Business Environment Optimization Office expressed that the platform is open to the public. People can reflect problems online through our website, app, WeChat applet or WeChat official account. They can also dial “12345” and transfer to the business environment hotline.
