Hainan Speeds up the Construction of Key Industrial Parks

This year's Hainan Provincial government work report proposes to strengthen the functions of industrial parks. Serving as a major implementer of the free trade port policies and a major incubator for pilot projects, industrial parks are promoting the high-quality development of the Hainan Free Trade Port.

At the beginning of the New Year, the construction is in full swing at the construction site of the Deep-sea Science and Technology Innovation public Platform project in Sanya Yazhou Bay Science and Technology City. At present, the main structure of the project, mechanical and electrical engineering and interior decoration are all simultaneously under construction and are expected to be completed by the end of 2022.

"Our team has been here since the start of the project, it’s motivating and rewarding to see the place built from an empty space to what it is now," said Wen Xihai, worker of the Project.

In Haikou Jiangdong New Area, the construction of the Headquarters Building of Bank of Hainan with a total investment of 1.48 billion yuan is also being accelerated. At present, the basement structure and 20% of the superstructure has been completed.

Mo Shichuan, deputy manager of production department of Headquarters Building of Bank of Hainan indicated that over 200 workers are working 24 hours a day. They plan to have the entire main body topped out in May and deliver in September, including the installation of the glass curtain wall.
