Haikou Jiangdong Continues to Optimize Biz Environment

Recently, with the aim of reporting the FTP construction with Chinese characteristics, journalists from national media outlets conduct field investigations in key industrial parks of Haikou and Qionghai, focusing on the latest progress brought by the early-stage favorable policies.

As Hainan's first financial industry cluster, Jiangdong Financial Bay has attracted 28 companies to settle in more than half a year after its establishment, which is an average of one company per week. Behind the rapid clustering of enterprises is the magnetic effect of Jiangdong New Area's business promotion. As of the end of April 2022, more than 108 enterprises have signed contracts with the Area’s 1.5-level ‘port of enterprise’ project, the overall investment rate reaching about 80%.

Fu Qiaojing, Investment Manager of the Jiangdong Financial Bay highlighted, “During our business promotion process, some new formats will be gradually developed. Therefore, we will introduce related industries for customers according to their needs.”

Bo’ao Lecheng Simplifies Approval Process for Med-Instrument

The Bo’ao Lecheng Pilot Zone is striving to optimize the approval process for licensed medical drugs and devices, compressing the approval time limit from 27 days to 3-7 days, even within one day. The Zone has also established the only bonded warehouse for centralized storage of licensed medical drugs and devices in China to encourage their import and storage in batches. Advanced medical resources such as the Shulan Hospital, Eye Hospital and Ruijin Hospital are all attracting the return of medical consumption. As of the end of March, the Zone has received over 40,000 medical tourists, a year-on-year growth rate of 60%.

Xu Yanqiu, a consumer of Boao Yiling Life Care Center told the correspondent, “I had wanted to go to Japan. But then I noticed the advanced equipment and policies in Bo’ao, we can also enjoy high-quality services and use high-end medical equipment without going abroad, so here I come.

Liao Guangrui, Deputy CPC Committee Secretary of the Ruijin Hainan Hospital announced, “On April 30th, we held the third ethics meeting and passed 6 new projects, 3 of which are new research areas in China. We are guided by more national policies on the use of new drugs and devices to reach more people.”

During the ‘14th Five-Year Plan’ period, covering the years from 2021 to 2025, the Bo’ao Lecheng Pilot Zone is focusing on attracting the return of overseas medical consumption, further encourage the medical institutions in the park to go deeper in their advantageous fields, improve medical quality, and polish Lecheng's health brand at home and abroad, thus benefiting more people with the medical services.

“Recently, in terms of public medical institutions, we have explored a new model called ‘sharing.’ We have just signed a contract with the Harbin Municipal Health Commission, aiming to integrate and link their medical resources with us,” said Lv Xiaolei, Executive Deputy Director of the Bo’ao Lecheng Pilot Zone Administration.
